01 Service description

Lingua·Lab is an AI-powered language practice platform operated by Green Yoga Inc ("we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in the United States. The platform is accessible at lingua-lab.org.

Lingua·Lab records and scores pronunciation feedback for learners of Italian, French, and Spanish. Audio is transcribed using Whisper and evaluated against reference phoneme targets using GPT-5.5. Feedback is delivered in real time and stored to track learner progress over time.

We may update, extend, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers.

02 Account responsibilities

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All sessions and activity that occur under your account.
• Ensuring that any students or other users you invite comply with these Terms.
• Not sharing your account with people outside your subscription tier.

If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at andrea@lingua-lab.org.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are setting up accounts for students under 13, you must have appropriate parental or guardian consent as required by applicable law.

03 Subscriptions & billing

Lingua·Lab is offered on the following paid plans, billed in US dollars:

• Solo Learner: $14 per month, or $99 per year (billed annually).
• Classroom: $6 per student per month, billed annually, with a minimum of 10 student seats.
• School License: $899 per year, covering up to 60 students.

All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial period, continued access requires selecting and paying for a plan.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice by email. Price changes take effect at your next renewal after the notice period expires. If you do not accept the new price, you must cancel before the renewal date.

Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

04 Intellectual property

Your content: AI-generated feedback and practice content created during your sessions belongs to you. You may download, share, and use your session transcripts, scores, and feedback for your own educational purposes.

Our platform: Lingua·Lab, including its code, design, system prompts, scoring algorithms, and AI prompt templates, is the property of Green Yoga Inc and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the platform.

Source material: If you upload text or audio to practice with, you represent that you have the right to use that material. We do not claim ownership of material you provide.

05 Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lingua·Lab to:

• Abuse or flood our AI infrastructure, including sending automated or scripted requests at a volume that degrades service for other users.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription gating or access features not included in your plan.
• Distribute, resell, or sublicense access to the platform.
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Use the platform for spam generation or for training competing AI models.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice if the violation is severe, or after warning for lesser infractions.

06 Limitation of liability

Lingua·Lab is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uptime, accuracy of pronunciation scoring, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other matter.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Green Yoga Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data loss, or disruption to education — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

07 Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable period, or if we decide to discontinue the service. In the event of a service discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice and a mechanism to export your data.

08 Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of Lingua·Lab after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

We will always keep the current version of these Terms accessible at lingua-lab.org/terms.
